Jarrod Morrill is a Category Manager at Parkland USA. Since Joining Parkland USA in 2021, Jarrod has managed the Packaged Beverages & Food Service categories. Parkland USA is an acquisition-based organization and much of Jarrod’s focus has been to integrate & standardize process & offerings while improving margins. He is currently leading the Parkland Food Service initiative for brand development, integration, and rollout of their ‘Bites On the Run’ proprietary offering for all U.S. operating regions.
Jarrod began his retail career with more than 15 years in the restaurant industry. In 2005 he joined Maverik. After a short stint in Operations Jarrod moved through the Maverik ranks spending 5 years in Category Management and eventually becoming the Director of Operational Support. After Maverik he joined the Couche-Tarde North American Food Service team as the Fresh Food Brand Manager. Most recently, before joining Parkland USA, he was working for the US Airforce as a Contracting Officer in training at Hill AF Base in Utah.
Jarrod is a believer in life-long learning. He received his Associates & Bachelor’s degree from Weber State University majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Business Administration. Jarrod is fascinated with contract law and is currently working towards his Master’s in Legal Studies with an emphasis in Contract Law from Sandra Day O’Connor law school at Arizona State.
Jarrod is an avid tennis player and has been to USTA Nationals 5 times, most recently winning the National Title with the Utah Men’s 4.0 team this past October. He & his wife Lorie have 5 children & live in Utah where they spend much of their time focused on their 7 grandchildren.
