I began my career with the Southland Corp in 1986, covering NJ and eventually the Northeast US. I held various operations and marketing positions during my 14 years with 7-Eleven.
In 2000, I joined BP North America as Category Manager for Dispensed Beverages for the Southeast Business Unit based in Atlanta GA. In 2007, I was awarded the “Tony Mineart Merchandiser of the Year” by the US Newspaper Association for promotions I developed with the Atlanta Journal Constitution. In 2008, I was promoted to lead all U.S. merchandising and new store projects and relocated to ARCO/ampm headquarters in LaPalma CA.
As the Marketing Program Manager for the U.S., I worked with category managers and operations to manage and execute promotions and merchandising programs. I also developed and managed field communications for staff and franchisees, as well as measuring and reporting program performance. During 2011-2012, I stepped in to manage the Beer Category, while still overseeing some of my Programs Manager responsibilities.
I joined CST Brands in San Antonio TX in 2014, as the National Dispensed Beverage Category Manager. CST Brands operated over 1500 Corner Store, Flash Food and Nice and Easy stores across the US and Canada. Couche-Tard (Circle K) purchased CST Brands in June 2017, and I took the Circle K Texas Division Packaged Beverage category manager role shortly after that.
I have a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business from the University of Redlands (Redlands CA). I have certificates in Project Management from the AMA, NACS Category Management training and CMKG CPCM training.
I live in Boerne TX, just outside San Antonio, with my 21-year-old son Anthony, and my American Bulldog Dixie.
